There's a warmness in your glowing smile,
and your face lights up this darkened place,
where we're together in this silence.
I love the way you say my name
when you beg me to come back again.
Your voice, it echoes through my head,
and it breaks this lonely silence.
Your heartbeat keeps in time with mine,
and I feel like maybe I could fly,
and your hand is tightly clutching mine
as you hold me in this silence.
I don't want to leave your embrace.
I don't ever want to leave this place;
I just want to look upon your face
and listen to this silence.
I don't give a damn what others say.
I don't care if you've led me astray;
I still love you anyway,
but I wish you'd break this silence.
I don't know who's trying to deny,
but I'm getting sick of all these lies.
I just wish you'd tell me what is to hide
and solve this puzzling silence.
